Winter returned late yesterday. They had predicted a few inches, but that’s not what happened.
After several sunny springy days, Thursday was overcast. It started sleeting in the early afternoon eventually changing to a sloppy wet snow that wasn’t sticking. I took Beau for a walk in my big coat as the snow caked on my protruding bangs. The snow became heavier and heavier. There was about 4 inches on the deck when I went to bed. Got up early and took a peek outside. Holly cow- there was a good foot. The world was a winter wonderland.
For those of us who live here, we know that spring means warm, sunny days that tease you into thinking it’s all over. We know not to believe it. Yet still, even I was taken back this morning.
Wonderful snowshoe trip went out this morning and lots of rentals. The sound I now hear is the drip. The sun has returned.
My new PA is 17-year-old Melinda Ross. Isn’t she cute?
Melinda is learning the store and the office-end of the WTW. The latter being very important in case I get bumped on the head.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
