   Booking a Trip

We would love to have you travel with us! If you're ready to pamper yourself with one of our premier hiking packages, please follow these instructions:

Print out a booking form or contact us if you need one mailed to you.

Please note: For guided snowshoe trips or snowshoe rentals, booking forms are not needed. Simply make reservations by calling The Warming House at (970)586-2995 or e-mail at info@footpathsoftheworld.com.

Click here for Walter Tishma Way Booking Form

Form can be mailed to Footpaths of the World at PO Box 3368, Estes Park, CO 80517 or faxed to The Warming House at (970) 586-9426.

It is best to contact us with your preferred dates and let us see if we can accommodate you.

For the WTW, maps and route guide will be sent to the name which the reservation is under and will arrive after the trip has been fully paid.

All payments are to be made to 8:59 Productions.

When filling out your form, make sure each person in your group signs under Terms, Conditions, Booking.

Double, Single Boxes: Check whether you are booking double or single occupancy.

Preferred Room: If booking a double room, check whether you prefer a twin-bedded or double-bedded room. Two things to keep in mind: First, most smaller B&Bs do not have twin rooms. If you'd rather have a twin, but will take a double, check both boxes. If you must have a twin, check only the twin box. Second, a couple of the older lodges have only double beds if you're booking a double room. A twin room may give you more space. Occasionally bathrooms are down the hall. This may be part of your "roughing it" adventure.

On the WTW form, be sure to let us know if you're arriving by car or by shuttle. If by The Estes Park Shuttle or Estes Park Limo , be sure you've contacted them prior to your trip and made arrangements. They'll deliver you to your first night's destination. We'll see that you are taken to the trailhead the next morning. Be sure that the shuttle knows to pick you up in Allenspark at the end. Your package does not include transportation to and from the airport. It is your responsibility to get transportation reserved.

If you're arriving by car, you will park at the Estes Park Visitor's Center and have a ticket on your car. We'll get you to the start of the trail. You will need to book a pick-up with Peak to Peak Taxi Service, (970) 586-6111, to bring you back to your car from Allenspark. This can be done after you arrive.

At the bottom or on a separate sheet, let us know if you have any allergies or health concerns we should be aware of. Even on a self-guided WTW trip, if something were to happen, we're the ones who know where you are and could pass on any important information to the National Park. It's just safer to be prepared.

Having traveled and booked trips abroad for many years, we highly encourage you to be aware of the cancellation policy and to take out trip insurance. You can usually do it per the $1000 you want to cover and it's very affordable. Our lodges are small and seasonal and they trust me to keep their best interests at heart. As one travel company so aptly put it, "Travel insurance saves you the embarrassment of having to ask for a refund and us the embarrassment of having to say no."
